MCI Developments appointed e*SCAPE Urbanists as masterplanners for the development of a residential led mixed-use proposal on the edge of Catterall, near Garstang. The proposals included the development of a new village centre containing a small food store, pharmacy, children’s nursery, extra care apartments, family public house and employment site. The remaining area of the site provided land for new homes. The scheme worked with the existing hedgerows and related trees and created a finished edge to the village between the settlement at A6.
